Warranty and Refund Policy

MICR Toner

LIMITED WARRANTY. CHAX, Inc. (CHAX)  Since toner cartridges have a definite shelf life and are sensitive to environmental conditions when in storage, and such storage conditions are beyond our control after shipping, all claims for defective cartridges must be requested no later than one hundred twenty (120) days from date of invoice.  All requests for proof of delivery must be within ninety (90) days of invoice date.  All requests for returns (other than defective returns) must be made within thirty (30) days from invoice date. Some states do not allow limitations on duration of an implied warranty, so the above limitation may not apply to you.

CUSTOMER REMEDIES. CHAX's entire liability and your exclusive remedy shall be, at our (CHAX, Inc.) option, either (a) return of the price paid, not including any shipping , COD, & handling charges or (b) repair or replacement .  In order to obtain a refund of the purchase price, you must return all materials to CHAX prepaid with a copy of your receipt.  All returns to CHAX must have CHAX's prior approval and have a return authorization number displayed on the outside of any carton shipped to CHAX.  Call CHAX to obtain such approval and RMA number.  .

NO OTHER WARRANTIES. CHAX disclaims all other warranties, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability and fit­ness for a particular purpose, with respect to the SOFTWARE and any accompany­ing written materials.  This limited warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may have others, which vary from state to state.

NO LIABILITY FOR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. In no event shall CHAX or its suppliers be liable for any damages whatsoever (including, without limitation, damages for loss of business profits, business interruption, loss of business information, or other pecuniary loss) arising out of the use of or inability to use this CHAX product, even if CHAX has been advised of the possibility of such damages.  Because some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages, the above limitation may not apply to you.


All cartridges must be returned with an approved “Return Merchandise Authorization” (RMA) number issued by CHAX, Inc.) Customer Service Representative.  The RMA number must appear on the outside label of all boxes returned.  RMA numbers are valid for thirty (30) days from date of issue.  Call CHAX, Inc. - customer service at 310-827-4901.

RETURNS (non-defective)

Subject to 15% re-stocking fee.
Must be returned in original box, cartridge seals intact, and contain original packing materials
Must have RMA number on label
RMA must be requested within 30 days from invoice date.

Returns (Defective)

Must enclose at least five (5) pages showing print defect or written description of defect.
Subject to pro-rating if more than 50% of toner contents used.
Must be returned in original box and contain original packing materials
RMA must be requested no later than 120 days from invoice date.

Damaged Merchandise

Because of our stringent quality control procedures, items received with broken parts are assumed to be damaged in transit and thus need to be reported damaged.  If package is received showing signs of physical damage be sure to note this condition when signing receipt.
Request an RMA # from CHAX, Inc.  We will file a claim with the carrier.
Since the carrier may need to inspect the parcel, please keep the product in the original packaging material until CHAX, Inc. requests return or disposal of the damaged product.
